Junior Seau is probably a shoo-in.
Charles Haley and Kevin Greene are way overdue. So is Tim Brown. Jerome Bettis is certainly deserving... 6th on the all time rushing list merits that. Marvin Harrison will suffer the same fate all receivers not named Jerry Rice do... and is going to have to wait some more. I think the rest wait a little although there is always one that sneaks in based on a ton of All-Pro ribbons.
My top 5 (along with that "don't be surprised" one)...
Charles Haley Kevin Greene Tim Brown Jerome Bettis Junior Seau
Dark Horse candidate - Will Shields

Should have also added... Tinglehoff gets in (rightfully so)...
And - I think Ron Wolf goes in too. I get the sense he doesn't have one single enemy in the league and every time a GM opening comes up, Ron Wolf is consulted. Add to that the fact you never see the guy on the tube (as opposed to Polian who is a fixture on espen) and I do think he has a legitimate shot.

Altho' I ain't really that high on the Mick. Not that he ain't deserving there are just so many more deserving than him

Still wish they'd take this responsibility away from the media.

they really need to have a year to clear the "backlog" or otherwise expand to 8-10 inducted
that stupid 5 rule was from when the league was a lot smaller. dumb.

The rule is at least 4 and no more than 7, but they must get at least 80% of the vote. If fewer than 4 get 80%, they take the top 4. If more than 7 get 80%, then only the top 7 get in.

I wouldn't vote Harrison in. Ever.
It may be too late to take out the OJ Simpsons and Lawrence Taylors, but at least they'll avoid another black eye in Harrison.

Bettis Brown Seau Pace
Probably Shields as well.
Coaches and GMs should go in on a separate ballot. I could see a strong case for all three non-player candidates (Wolf, Polian, Johnson)

Only 5 from the modern era list can go in Stormy. The other three are voted on separately.

Those 5 need 80%.

Harold Carmichael robbed again. Perhaps he needs to avoid that area of town? Carry less cash? Don't walk home drunk (again)? Stop hanging with Ray Lewis?
