A throw down was between 2 people and there was a separate comments section for everybody at the bottom of it. The main section was used exclusively for the two people involved in the throw down and everybody got to vote on who was winning as their arguments progressed. |

We were about to test it out before the site shut down. One thing I don't like about the polls here, once you vote it locks. This whole thread just locked for me after I voted.  |

We were about to test it out before the site shut down. You have a board for topics & challenges. Once the opponent agrees to the topic, the person staring the TD creates a thread with a poll. The two participants alternate putting in 3 placeholder posts. All other posts end up as comment section. The participants go back and edit the placeholder to create the arguments. |

I don't think it's going to look exactly the same here - I wouldn't expect it to. But there's definitely going to need to be a section where only the two participants can post. Agreed, otherwise what's the point of throwing down. |
