That - is what we old timers call "the passing of the torch". Exactly, and if Peyton does decide to retire, I suspect he'll be back in the Colts family before too long.

Are you in a VA hospital Gene? No, buddy, nothing like that. I work 2 jobs. The VA assigns everybody a nurse, which is just a cheaper way of assigning doctors, lol. I do take 6 prescriptions, had a triple bypass in 2010, but I'm cool now. Thank you for your concern, though. Is your VA located near a military facility? I'm am in the VA as well, but I have a doctor assigned. Don't have any troubles getting an appt or getting in to see him (little waiting time)... I've heard the horror stories, just trying to figure out any pattern....

The nurse gave me a card with a number on it and told me to call if I get sick. She took my vital signs and prescribed my drugs. So far I haven't gotten sick enough to need a doctor so I've never called it. I have 3 appointments within the next 2 weeks for routine physical, eye exam and cardio tests. I'll let you know how they go.

Once I joined I got a letter saying that I didn't have to sign up for ObamaCare... We have some military bases here, so was wondering if that is why our VA is so much better (from what I have been hearing) than others...have a LARGE military retirement community

We have a lot of retired officers in the Atlanta area, but not that many enlisted. Most of the officers can afford whatever they want and don't bother with the VA unless they need a very expensive procedure.
