I may check that out. I've been here over a year but just never bothered to get cable or dish or anything. I only really miss the 2 cable channels that cover my local sports. But they post evrything on line too so...

Dallas Morning News had this article in the paper this morning. This was an excellent read and I see it first hand with my grandsons. Other than sports, they watch very little "broadcast" stuff. I let one of them use my Netflix account to get bang out of my $8.99 a month. And I get plenty of bang through them.
I'm "starting" to find it useful. Watching "Marco Polo" on it right now. The flexibility of watching it either on the 36" or on my iPad is pretty cool. Still would like to see how I can use more of the on-demand stuff like HBO via that medium instead of my DirecTV box... and that could be the thing that starts driving me away from the dish.
Only problem - my wife would be lost as hell without those damned programs she watches on OWN. Not sure I could fight through her bitching if I cut the cord completely.

If she stops watching TV, you guys might actually have to talk to one another!!!
