And while I'm completely digressing from the topic at hand to vent about rules... What's with the "automatic first down" defensive penalties? It could be 3rd-and-28, the defense gets called for holding - a five yard penalty - why the fuck does the offense get an automatic first down? That's bullshit. IMO that should result in a 3rd-and-23. Seriously. 10 yards. Replay down. Just like the offense Not that simple. You are rewarding the defense for a penalty really. The biggest flaw in the college game is you can interfere with a receiver 50 yards down field, prevent a big play or a touchdown and the penalty is 15 yards. Is there really a difference between pass interference and holding on a pass play? I don't think so. Just call Pass interference and spot the ball no less than 10 yards and call it a first down. |

It had never been called before I believe it might have been called once since how the FUCK is anyone supposed to know the rule existed What hadn't been called before? If you're talking about the Tuck rule, false statement. But it's curious how nobody(but Lions fans who also find it curious) is talking about this picked up flag anymore huh? Ref seen partying on JJ's bus, flag picked up when it was obviously a penalty..."Worse than the tuck rule" according to most on here...all forgotten because of a couple PSI... baaaaaa baaaaaa |

That received far less press coverage and investigation than deserved. Yep Of course it also doesn't look good that Goodell was partying at Kraft's house night before the AFCCG either lol But I have to think that "friendship" has to be sour after this deflate gate stuff. NFL not really saying anything but seems to be "leaking" plenty |
