I just went to look at the moon. a cloud passed by but the moon never came back lol whole bunch of black clouds doing the eclipsing. They did say it might be tough to see up here Lol if I didn't know the back story, this would sound like a Rock story. "noticed something kinda strange with the eclipse. told my buddy dave, who is an astronaut and he didnt know what was going on until i explained to him. he is teaching a class tomorrow at Umass, and he is going to talk about our conversation." |

Got my son his first baseball bat a week ago. Orange Easton, only $20 at play it again sports. I bet you miss when gear was that cheap, lol. If my son gets into hockey too I'm even more fucked.

Not sure if you like STP, but Shangri La is an underrated album. Not much point in deliberately listening to Zepplin when, at any given time, five radio stations are paying one of their songs. Do yourself a favor: listen to some Chifton Chenier, Moondoggies, or Tim Timebomb. |

Not much point in deliberately listening to Zepplin when, at any given time, five radio stations are paying one of their songs. Do yourself a favor: listen to some Chifton Chenier, Moondoggies, or Tim Timebomb. Radio usually only plays 1-4 of Zep. But yeah, they've totally killed Stairway and a handful of others. Of the bands I love, I usually end up liking a rarity on the album anyway. For example, Shame in You on AIC's three legged dog album. Adhesive Love off of STP's Purple album etc. you ever heard 'ten years gone' by led Zep? of the above. You have any specific songs I should start out with? |

My daughter has been in soccer, Tae Kwon do, Baseball, Archery, gymnastics, rock climbing, roller skating, and now hockey. And she's only 9. PIAS has saved me a ton of money. |

How's your sons team doing? $20 - pipe dream. he must be young bats are running us about $200 now. they are doing ok, but could be better. they should be winning a lot more games, but are struggling with the bats right now. when they hit, very few teams in their class can beat them. |

Clifton Chenier was ok. Sounded like they could be good, but the video's sound on the recording wasn't very clear.
Liked the Tim Timebomb song. Not too sure about his appearance, lol. I'll check out more of his stuff.
Haven't listened to the Moondoggies yet.

I don't dislike hockey as much as I let on. I just never developed an interest in it. I grew up in Austin, Texas. Hockey wasn't an option. WE played baseball, football and basketball, in that order. After we grew up and started taking drugs, we played ultimate frisbee and sat around passing reefs and kicking the hackey-sack. LSD and ultimate frisbee do not mix.
Now that my kid is in hockey, I'll teach her to love the Pittsburgh Penguins. So, fuck all of you Sid the Kid haters.

I'll check out more of his stuff. Haven't listened to the Moondoggies yet. Chenier has been dead for awhile now, so that sound quality is about as good as it gets. I did a college paper on Zydeco music, which basically the black version of Cajun music.
