I thought it was interesting what he said about Pittsburgh. I don't think they'll threepeat, but if you look they still have the core of the team. The people who left, with the exception of Fluery were role players. They've picked up some replacements and they have some kids in Wilkes-Barre who are almost ready so don't count them out. I'm not 100% sure Letang is coming back though. |

Shut the hell up McD. I Love the best on best in the olympics a lot . I also understand its a business . No other League of the NHL's calibre shuts itself down for summer or winter olympics . They certainly don't shut down and purposely lose money to aid the olympics either . The league that is big enough to give you insane money made that call Connor - suck it up butter cup. |

Bringing 9 defensemen to camp. 10 if you count Heiskanen but I suspect he heads back to Finland. Don't see Hamhuis going anywhere. I figure Klingberg and Methot are probably the top pair... Honka or Lindell and Hamhius likely the #2 with the other being on the third pair. That leaves Jamie Oleksiak, Stephen Johns, Patrik Nemeth and Greg Pateryn fighting for the last two positions. They won't carry 8 again this season. |
