Was pleased with the pseudo moral victory of scoring 3 runs off Braves relievers in the 9th, got the tying run to third, all with two outs. I think, might have been one run scored with one out. Who cares, we lost. Oh right, I'm trying to say something here about moral victories.

Braves are hitting .227 as a team...At least the Astros, Mets, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and Padres are still behind them.

morning... Ervin Cy Young Santana dominates and Albert Pooholes is back to his MVP form Ervin was unhittable. The man hardly threw any balls, something like four balls through an entire eight innings, and then two consecutive Braves relievers threw four balls to the first guys they faced. Even with all his strikes thrown, the Mets couldn't touch the guy. Is it too early to say the juice word? At least we bumped Kimbrel's ego a bit. Maybe that will pay off down the road. |

The Mets radio announcers last night said that, through the first seven games, the Mets had their second-lowest team average since their inception. The lowest year was 1963, their second season. Wheeler did alright for himself up until I started listening to the game...no way he was going to match Santana though. |

Braves have scored 19 runs in 8 games. I remember when Baltimore put 22 on Atlanta in 1. LOL
Also of not..the braves have given up 16 runs..take out that 9th inning last night and 13 runs in 8 games would look amazing.

Santana has pitched about a dozen CG's in his career; I would have let him finish it. |
