Saw the Tito Ortiz v. Stephan Bonnar pre match smack talk thingy (rip off of the Max Kellerman schtick). Bonnar came off (to me at least) as acting 100%. Not really mad, not really upset. I guess this is a new MMA league, but they really shouldn't have done that - seemed way too scripted.

It was a three round fight and the "six figure contract to the winner" is a total sham. They gave contracts to half of the guys who were on the show that year. Wasn't just Bonnar who lost and got in the UFC... Koscheck, leben, Swick, Quarry, florian, Hogar all lost and got contracts too. |

I've let it lapse in the past few years, Dana has just over-saturated it and it's gotten pretty shitty, lots and lots of terrible cards. I used to watch religiously. Went to one in Newark a year or so ago. Met Cowboy, that guy is awesome, but he's had some fucking mind numbing losses. |
