As long as the Leafs or the Broons don't get McDavid, I'm OK. And if the winner is looking for a trade, we can toss 3 third rounders, 6 cases of Canadian beer and a large poutine on to the table. The B's only have a 1% chance, which equals no chance. Better than the Superball odds. To think the Pens almost gave the Sabres 2 chances at McDavid could you imagine if they had missed the playoffs and their pick won the Sabres would have gotten both McDavid and Eichel

Wish it had been Dustin Brown... too. Haha, yup. they're both dbags. Maybe we could throw in Raffi Torres and Matt Cooke as well. It'll be a more douchie version of the Hangover.

So the Oilers get #1 pick.
And millions of casual fans looking for an NHL game turn the channel while they wasted time showing the lottery draw.

Well no matter what he was going to go to a losing team. At least we don't have to listen to Toronto fans crowing about how they're gonna win the cup next year.

Seems like making the playoffs would be a higher calling. I know I would certainly like my team to make the playoffs prior to me puffing my chest out and crowing. <sigh>

So - everyone here knew that Jamie Benn was "playing through" a lower body ailment. Now we know what it was. Hip surgery coming up. 4-5 months rehab. He's such a bad ass. Thornton and Marleau played the entire year (arguably careers) with an upper body injury. No heart. Schmaggots. Saw this morning that Mr. McLellan has left the building and the Flyers are falling all over themselves. San Jose Sharks 'part ways' with coach Todd McLellan, opening door for FlyersFlyers fans... grasping at the freshest straw.

Pens back on track to go down in 5. Would like to see the Rags have to earn it a little more, though. Officiating has been fairly lopsided, even by NHL standards.

How does one judge lopsided when your Pens have been the most penalized team in the league for 14/15? It has been chippy. I.E. Crosby's knee to Lundqvists head, Kunitz's constant goaltender interference that never gets called....you guys are in the blue paint all night and nothing gets called. Go back and watch the highlights...its obvious you are trying to run Lundqvist.

But seriously, while the Pens have deserved most of their penalties for doing stupid out of control stuff, on the other hand the refs have seemed to swallow their whistles when the Rangers do stupid stuff like interference while on the way to their bench.

I gotta admit that the Pens deserved most of their penalties, like EWA said though the Rags are getting away with a lot of the same stuff. Lapierre gets hooked on a short handed rush and their is no call (tonight Comeau didn't do half of that and got called for hooking), Hornqvist gets flattened in front of the net, then someone runs into Sid so he can't get to the puck (a couple minutes earlier Dumolin got called for flattening a Ranger in front of the net), which allows the Rangers to make a big outlet pass which leads to a goal. And why wasn't Lundqvist called for diving when Sid brushed by him? I'm just saying that they need to hold the Rangers to the same standard that they are holding the Pens.
