Exactly, I didn't know shit about the guy when he was named the pope other than that he was a Jesuit, but that was all I needed to hear. They're God's marines. Their order was almost mass excommunicated from the church because of their focus on progressive thinking and science over "God is magic" |

I don't really understand why people like schilling think believing in evolution is anti-religion. The new Pope is extremely pro-science! Jesuits fucking rule! Evolution clearly happens. To what extent? who the fuck knows. But to say Evolution doesnt exist is fucking stupid. Survival of the fittest......i minored in entomology.....crazy how insects adapt (evolve) into their settings. And we instinctively go "wow how smart are they to learn to do that".....they are not smart at all........just the ones who are genetically programmed to do such survival tactic are the ones who survived and procreated. |

You believe in the creator or you don't, is the hard and fast stance. They believe the notion of evolution is the devil's plot to convince the world that god doesnt exist. |

I believe humans adapt. But I don't believe we were monkeys at one time.
Adam was created in gods image and god isn't a monkey

That is alot of what i studied. my major was plant and soil sciences with a concentration in turf grass management. Lots and lots of grub studies. |

We all know this. That is just organisms adapting to their environment. But we do not know that Man evolved from an ape like being. Or that some ancient dinosaur evolved into the animals we on the earth today. I think that's ridiculous. |

On my grandfather's deathbed, he told my cousin that she wasn't his granddaughter because he could never have such a fat pig(he was accurate, she's gross) as a granddaughter. So the rantings of a crazy old dying man can't be taken seriously. |

we evolved from primates that were the first to venture down from the trees to the ground. they began walking upright to adapt to their new environment, as their current stance and gate was no longer required going from tree to tree.
over time, they grew larger...taller, and developed a greater intelligence, many believe, thru the eating of fish (which was an easy and bountiful food source for newly developing carnivores)...which has essential oils that promote brain growth...its why they call tuna "brain food".
do this over thousands of years...tada..evolution.
