Jake Peavy is making himself a LOT of $$$ in free agency this Winter. Just keep him in the NL and he's an ace.

15 innings for the Giants in the postseason and they have yet to allow a run. My belief is that they will win the World Series again, and I'll continue to believe that until they're eliminated.

3 in 5 years would be insane It really would be, and doing it with a squad that you look at and compare to the other teams in the postseason each year, really shouldn't have a prayer.

Dodgers have at least as good starting pitching, MUCH better lineup, better bullpen.....why do i get the feeling the feeling the cards are going to eke this one out?

Definitely not a roster that frightens you, but they turn it on when it counts. The anti-Tigers Yep. Posey and Sandoval have really been the only constants since 2010. I mean, Posey is a fantastic player to build your team around, but that squad both in names and in some cases performance (Cain) has changed drastically since 2010.

Cain was old reliable, but the miles on that arm finally caught up. Hell of a pitcher for awhile, and I'm sure he's got plenty of juice left when he comes back.

Yeah but I doubt he'll ever be a #1 or 2 caliber starter again. I'd bet they'd dump that contract in a second if they could.

Always a workhorse, always felt like you're in the game because they just battle.
