Make the playoffs because:

Defense......Secondary is talented and young, they have an all pro CB and a couple of 2nd round picks in their 3rd year, Fuller and Brisker...both played at a probowl level...need to stay healthy.   LBs are very good, Edmunds and Edwards especially.  Sweat is a probowler, need someone on the other end to step up, DT is a 2nd rounder from 2023, can get pressure from the inside.  Should easily by a top 10 D, could be top 5.

Offensive supporting cast..........upgraded at WR, DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze with Kmet at TE....is a top 5 receiving group.  They upgraded their OLine, they were incompetent at C, and ALL the backups, who were used quite a bit last year.  Should be at a minimum competent, even with some injuries....Which is a HUGE upgrade from what Fields had.

That sets up well for Caleb......doesnt have to be special, just keep the turnovers to a minumum..

Dont make the playoffs because:

Obviously, as with pretty much any team.....Key injuries for an extended period. 

Its probably the 2nd toughest division to the AFC N, and its close.  Their schedule is favorable early, and tough down the stretch, no division games until mid Nov......  Then they got those 6 games and SF to finish the season....if they start slow with their rookie QB, might be tough to make up ground.
