I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta. I really like all of the ACC schools, grew up watching them play GT but my favorite one is North Carolina.

Gamecocks cause I'm a native redneck Carolina Panthers since inception, one of a handful of NFL fans who can make that claim (the rest of youse is bandwaggoners); Jets cause I like losers Mets cause they have had an A-ball affiliate in Columbia since way back in the mid-80s; Blue Jays cause Toronto = awesome Maple Leafs cause Toronto = awesome Used to be a Charlotte Hornets fan but find it hard to cheer for either the Pelicans or the Bobcats. Think I will adopt the Nets when they start winning titles

Yeah, you could...kinda...say...i jumped on a Mets bandwagon...
I've always despised almost everything about Atlanta, from it's lame mass transit to its sports teams to Elton John's house in Anslee.

We aint too crazy about South Carolina, either, but that's opening a whole new can of worms. LOL MARTA sucks, true, but the worst thing about Atlanta is the parking situation. At least MARTA helps out with that somewhat.

Not to thread-jack or anything, but almost all american cities that have tried to create "modern" mass transit systems completely suck at it. They needed to be created before the advent of the automobile & superhighways to be worth anybody's time. The only two systems that are worth a damn are NYC's and Chicago's. (Cause, you know, Boston sucks at everything) Philly's is okay but not extensive enough. San Fran's is decent, but BART mainly only gets you from Oakland to Downtown SF, and the above-ground rail/trolley/cable system is just confusing to me. I'm sure if I lived there Filo could help me decipher it. B1ake will have to chime in about DC's metro. Sports yeah whoo teams.

I've seen others say I want 100% sports talk on here but I never said that..WE can still talk about just about anything.. Thank You

I had no issues getting my luggage on a bus from LGA and to my hotel in Manhattan and getting around was a breeze to go to SOHO, Wall Street, Liberty Island, Central Park....

Thank You its why I enjoyed the hoop before the current regime took over. we basically talked about what we wanted..no one's feelings got hurt...it was like hanging out at cheers and talking about what ever came to mind.
