lesters 0.43 WS era is the best ever for guys with at least 20 IP 3-0 0.43 ERA 0.762 WHIP 21. IP 12 hits 1 run 1 walk 15 K's sample size dude and hamels has a world series mvp, clearly better. *yawn*

Lester/Hamels may be the definition of splitting hairs........Cant think of a closer comparison Lester has a slightly worse ERA but has to pitch in the AL. Hammels has a worse post season / WS ERA... you know, when he gets the AL line ups and Lester gets the NL Line ups. duh, seems a wash

Matt Garza >>> David Price "let's compare a #1 to a #2 to make an awful point" - pickles logic thats precisely what we would have said the last 4 years Hamels a number 1 Lester a number 2

using yamtarded logic against yam is not acceptable know whats funny about your awful attempts here? the guys who played for nl and al teams, had a higher era in the al, and a lower era in the nl. clemens: 2.40/3.21 schilling: 3.30/4.00 garzaL: 3.49/4.01 soooooo let's add a half run to cole's era, or take a half off lester, which i think is more than fair. who is "clearly better"? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Which Lefty SP, Cole Hamels or Jon Lester, would you rather have on your favorite team?

ehh. I'd say Hamels has had the better career right now, though I'd give Lester a slight edge for 2014. could argue either way.
