And what's worse? Bogaerts is actually 10th among SS's in BABIP at .305...which means he's not getting unlucky. He just can't currently hit MLB pitching. spraying line drives! He'll likely be a good hitter at some point. He does have talent. Not sure that defense will ever come though. You're 21 years old and you're THIS bad defensively as a middle infielder? Doesn't bode well.

I never said he wasn't having a bad season... I simply said he's having a better (or comparable) season to McCann or Jeter... That is literally all I said... and you have been off humping my leg ever since... That's the truth and it can be backed up with a really simple link... Think that through... You were humping his .666 OPS...which is acceptable for bench player, if that same bench player can play a lick of defense at the same time. He's overmatched in every aspect of major league baseball at this particular time in his career. He'll get better, but right now? He doesn't belong in the big leagues. No, I wasn't... I was offering a retort to Dirt who was doing Dirt things... that as bad as he was hammering Bogaerts... He's gonna have to point comparable hate to McCann or Jeter if he wanted to be real... That's just what the truth is....do with it what you will...

Chris Capuano and Shane Green are starting meaningful games for the Yankees and Jacoby Ellsbury is their [HASH]3 hitter. "They stink" is me being kind, because I like you... They lead the WC.....Like I said, Youre clueless, stop acting like you know shit about who Shane Green is As usual, Boston "System" gets all the hype, Yankee system keeps producing Go to bed the red sox system gets all the hype because a red sox system just reduced the champions of the world. They are the reigning world series champions dirt. having said that I sure am happy for you that the yankees have a half game lead for the second wild card spot in the first week of august. will the parade be going through your neighborhood at all?

Now he didn't do anything to contribute to that title am i right? Oh, Magoo.... always walking into walls.

You believe in celebrating a half game lead in the second wild card in the first week of August. That's not how the snoogins family and people from Boston roll. We wave our dicks over championships. You feel me? We're about parades son. Around here? We deal in rings and champagne. Not a half game lead for the final playoff spot with the third of the season yet to go. That's how Boston rolls.

Prospect grades are basically: the younger the better, the more scare the position they play, the better. More tools, the better. Which doesn't always translate to having an impact in the first year of the call up usually. No more than older prospects that finally figured it out and are not even noted..

A - huge difference between "impact" and "one of the worst players in Baseball" B - when you are labeled a 5 tool, Cant Miss, Future Stud, ROY leader, you are sure as fuck expected to make an impact. C - when guys who are labeled that come up, they most often do have an impact.

Id look more at teams like the Yanks and O's that actually develop guys that contribute in a big way on the major league level, than a system that wins the "Baseball America" contest

I mean. The Orioles had a ton of pitching prospects hyped over the past decade or so. The only one who has turned out so far is Tilman. Who wasn't even drafted by the O's, Jake A is looking great now....that is no longer an Oriole. Which doesn't help them a lick
Wieters, Markakais, Machado were all top end talents. Who are hard to fuck up.

Xander is 21, most top prospects are still in AA at this stage.. All we know at this point...is he is no A-ROD or Trout.

Brett Lawrie's return to the Blue Jays only ended up lasting one game, as he landed right back on the disabled list Thursday with his third oblique strain in the past two years. Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulous has already ruled him out for the rest of August and it's possible that he'll miss a big chunk of September too.

Wasn't Ortiz benched last night because the field was wet?

Wasn't Ortiz benched last night because the field was wet? No. It was because the National League doesn't have a DH.
