"They'll wind up with one of the worst records in baseball, but at least they won at the trade deadline baby" "they won the world series last year so it doesn't matter how embarrassing they have become. We have prospects."

And it sucks we can't see him play since he is now on the DL.. I was really excited to see him play and hopefully put something good to end this season for the best man ... he wasnt himself this year, a lot of people thought it was injuries which begs the question... Why didn't the Red Sox know about this... OR IF they did know then why did they get him?

Allen Craig DL 'Welcome to Boston' might as well heal up. At least he's not out because he felt "light headed".

Sounds like something a Diamondbacks fan would do when they found out their team traded allstar Curt Schilling for Casey Fossum and Brandon Lyon. Eh, I address weaknesses at the core. Not bring up others' failures to disguise and deflect like Red Sox fans do on a consistent basis around here.

OR IF they did know then why did they get him? they turned a 36 year old pitcher into a 30 year old .300 hitter that gets on base and a 24 year old pitcher whose shown potential

"I'm not playing first" - Da Captain Didn't Posada take a turn at 2nd one game? Has Jeter played a single inning in any position besides SS? I guess versatility isn't one of the intangibles.

Dirt, which aspects of your seeing eye test tell you Jeter or McCann have been better than Bogaerts this season?

The Yankees placed infielders Martin Prado and Stephen Drew, as well as outfielder Brett Gardner on waivers, and all three have cleared, reports CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman Tuesday.
All three are now eligible to be traded during the month of August, though there is no indication the team is looking to move any of them.

By the way Boston....
Pedroia is far and away the best defensive 2B in baseball this year...a pretty staggering 14.5 defensive WAR.
Next closest is 8.2

I'd be pissed too if I owned him. But it does help real teams win real games.
