Another cool feature we have here at Sports Chatter is the ability to create "Groups" where only members of a certain "group" can participate. In some cases you have to belong to the group or you won't even see the content of that group  This started as a place for the ex CBS Baseball "Daily thread" guys so on here they have their own "private" area, that's where most of the action is. They're picky about who they let in tho. We could do groups for just about anything and I like it as a good alternative to having to ban anyone. You can just remove any "trouble makers" from that group...But any new groups would have a "leader" (or 2) named who can add/remove members, add more leaders etc...act as the "mod" of your area and possibly actually be given Mod duties ( if you want it) if needed... So if anyone has a group that needs/wants a place, feel free to ask and we'll set something up for them... Plenty of room here!  Zig |

The "private" Groups we have: Daily Thread Group- This is where most of the old CBS MLB "Daily Thread" posters are. If you were a part of that, PM either Zig or Mr Pickles and we'll discuss with the group whether or not to give you access to that area. It is very loosely moderated in there and not for everybody. BigD's Baseball Den- This "group" is for good, friendly baseball talk. It is up to BigD who he lets in there(or kicks out ) so PM him if you enjoy talking baseball. and a couple others that are so secret I can't even discuss them here  |

all I can see at the top is "Welcome new posters" and "NFL Football Forum" nothing about FanNation, but I'm a part of the group so I'm confused

So, question, to nobody in particular. Will there be much cross-pollination between groups? Or, due to past familiarity, we we mostly be staying and posting in separate camps?
Just curious, as I see lots of new folks here, but, I don't see to cross paths with any.
