Big Winner:
Tampa bay - Stralman, Boyle and Nabby for great value contracts.
Big Loser:
Washington Capitals - sign an aging, slow, injury prone defenseman to a high dollar contract that he probably won't finish (Orpik) and sign a guy with a career year (which advanced stats say are unsustainable) to a huge contract in Niskanen.
Big WTF:
Calgary Flames - Derek fucking Engelland for 3 years/$8.7M. I like him, he's a tough, gritty, 6th defenseman.....they usually make $1.5M or less.....and those are the good ones.
