This is pre-free agency so the destination of Cousins McCarron Bradford and Keenum will affect the draft in ways I cannot yet project. Well here goes
1) And with the 1st pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select Saquon Barkley RB Penn State. -with the combine showings of Allen and Mayfield closing the gap in the Fab Four rankings the Browns decide to help their QB the best way possible a true Bell-cow RB who starts his NFL career as a top 5 player at his position, if not the preeminent RB in the league. Smash mouth turn the corner go out in the flat. This player is exceptional at all of these parts of the game. Perennial Pro Bowler
2) TRADE Cleveland sends the 4th 35th and 60th pick to the Giants for the 2nd overall pick Browns select Josh Allen QB Wyoming -with the expected AJ McCarron bridge QB contract the Browns serve notice that their QB misfortunes are a thing of the past. And with Allen they get the 2nd coming of Matt Stafford and let him learn for a couple seasons while they fix his footwork to improve his accuracy
3) TRADE New York Jets send the 6th 49th and a 2019 (2) to the Colts for the 3rd pick and select Sam Darnold QB USC -the Jets get their QB succession plan in place with the selection of Darnold and follow by resigning McCown to bridge and tutor him
4) NY Giants Josh Rosen QB UCLA -the G-men get their succession plan in place at QB and get a fairly ready for primetime QB in the mercurial Rosen. With Gettleman as the GM expect a lot of OL and DL-men drafted on days 2 and 3
5) Denver Broncos Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma -and 5 picks in we have 4 QB's going the most since the infamous 1999 NFL Draft. And the Broncos score the one true winner in the bunch. With the combine performance guaranteeing him a top 10 spot the run on QB's has him hop off the carousel at 5 with the best roster capable of winning of the . Expect the Broncos to sign Case JKeenum as a bridge QB in this scenario
6) Indianapolis Colts Bradley Chubb ES MC State -the Colts get day 2 draft capital for the next 2 drafts and get the player they would have selected at 3. Chubb gives the Colts a much needed edge player and they will be expected to go O-Line and/or CB/WR day 2
7) Tampa Bay Minkah Fitzpatrick DB Alabama -Swiss Army knife DB in the Jalen Ramsey mold. Day 2&3 picks will be dominated by linemen on both sides of the ball another DB and a RB are also needs
8) Chicago Bears Derwin James S, Florida State -another Swiss Army type slot CB, FS plug in and play types that make better pro career players than college ones and he was pretty good there. Bears need to address WR, WR, and WR. CB's Ward and Alexander are other possibilities
more later

CB's Ward and Alexander are other possibilities more later - Browns could choose to be very smart.......and draft TWO of the difference making game changers.......none of those guys are QBs. Barkley, Chubb, Fitzpatrick.
They have the GM to pull that move I think.....but first he needs to fire that fucking coach.....then get a coach who can coach up Kizer, sign Keenum or Bradford to give Kizer time(he isn't ready)
Kizer isn't the best QB prospect in the world, but he isn't that far off from the QBs in this draft. All of them(except Mayfield) VERY unproductive and inconsistent in college. And their current coach certainly isn't going to make them any better.
Add Chubb to that defense, and Barkley to the offense, take pressure off Kizer....(and with a new coach) I like their future.

I do hope all those QB go early. I think their are 4 GREAT players in this draft(the three I mentioned above and Nelson)
They say never draft a Guard that high, but they say he is the best guard prospect in 15-20 years and by far the safest pick in the draft. Since the bears cut Sitton, no way in hell Nelson falls past them at #8

and I'm hearing that the Giants are confident in moving forward with Eli for a couple years.....(for some reason) I wouldn't be surprised if Nelson goes there.
Of course, no one should ever believe anything they here this time of year.

They will never get anywhere with inferior QBing. Not in today's NFL. Kiser is not the answer nor is he with some tutoring. Never thought much of him. After trading away the picks that would have been Wentz and Watson, there is no way their fanbase will accept a QB-less draft. Yes it is a draft with flawed QB's just like last season and the season before But it has to be addressed sooner rather than later

Guys quoting scouts & GMs saying that they had higher grades on Watson, Trubisky & Mahomes last year then any of these guys. I didn't see any of Josh Allen....but Darnold and Rosen sure as hell didn't look like 1st rounders when I saw them last year.
the Louisville QB might end up being the best of the bunch.

I'm not sold on Kizer either. Keenum is like 30 right? that is your QB for the next 2-3 seasons, I think it would be a shame to reach for one of these QBs when you could actually get 2 difference makers.

I just think Nelson is a cant miss. I agree and with a lot of DB's and interior linemen, I kinda expected the hybrid types like James to be front and center early and often

If they hadn't let Mitchell Schwartz walk in their moneyball scheme they'd be way farther ahead Not a big Hue fan but they kept playing hard for him till the end and to me that says something

But due to the huge movement in FA I will start over with 2.0 instead of finishing this one

You're taking too long Swampy. 2.0 is already OBE. You'll have to move straight to 3.0 instead.
