I have been telling people to NEVER expect the Lions to do anything for 25 years now. Few listen still. They just looked worse than they looked in 2008 when they went 0-16. For the last two weeks following the Bengals CHOKE against Pittsburgh, the Bears (yes the BEARS) beat them 33-7. Last week the Vikings kicked the stuffing out of them 34-7.
That's 67 for the opponents and 14 for Cincinnati if you are scoring at home. So Detroit goes into Cincinnati this afternoon needing a win to stay in the playoff hunt. Atlanta loses to the Saints, meaning that if Detroit wins against the Bengals and beats the Aaron Rodgers-less Packers at home...then they are AUTOMATICALLY in the playoffs.
Nothing is ever automatic with these bungling Bozos. The Bengals outscored the Lions 20-10 in the second half without punting ONCE as the beat the Bozos 26-17.
So, let me get this straight. In a league where QUARTERBACKING means everything, they not only could not compete with the Case Keenum led Vikings for the division but barely are ahead of Green Bay (who has had Rodgers for only one game since week 6) and are really only marginally better than the Chicago Bears with rookie Mitchell Trubisky succeeding the "immortal" Mike Glennon. LMFAO.
