Well the Pens may have finally shaken off their Stanley Cups hangover and started playing hockey again. They looked good last night, played good defense, and Murray made some nice saves. The game was more or less over in the 3rd period, but Nashville started doing their Flyers impersonation for Lavy. A lot of dirty hits and when the Pens retaliated they were the ones in the box. Sid ended up in the box when he was jawing with someone about a hit and ended up getting sucker punched. New hero last night for the Pens, Reaves. He was an assist away from a Gordie Howe hat trick.

Reminds me of a joke I heard a long time ago. Someone was watching the Montreal Canadiens at home and noticed a guy with an empty seat next to him, not ten rows off the ice. So the guy goes down and asks him why there is an empty seat next to him. The guy explains that he and his wife of 35 years were season ticket holders, but she passed away. The other guy said, that's very touching, but couldn't you get a friend or family to go with you? The guy said I would have, but they are all at her funeral. |

Yeah that was nice the way the did that for Bonito. He was only here 2 years, but it was a heckova couple years. Wait until Vegas shows up, they're going to have to send out the Zamboni again for all the puddles on the ice when they play Fluery's tribute. |
