Just say 'NO!' to expansion!!! 32 teams it's what every league will be by 2025. It just works numerically. Just pray they don't add playoff teams and make it 20 or 24. I still remember the joke of when the WHA teams joined and 16 of 21 teams made the playoffs |

Brassard to the Penguins for Cole a "prospect" goalie and a first round pick. Reaves (an enforcer) to Vegas for a third round pick a warm body, and Vegas picks up 40% of Brassard's $5 million cap hit. (Apparently Vegas wanted to make sure that Brassard stayed in the east.) Not a bad trade for the Pens. They get the good, third line center that they've been looking for. Cole is a decent defenseman, a little slow, but he has been in Sullivan's dog house a couple times this year. The goalie, Gustavson, is 19 and playing in a league in Sweden, but he's supposed to be very good. He'd have a hard time making it even into the AHL with how deep the Pens are in goaltending. Reaves was well liked by the fans in Pittsburgh even with his limited playing time.
