Finally watched "Suicide Squad" last night. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. It was OK.
Margot Robbie's ass - way above OK.

Finally watched "Suicide Squad" last night. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. It was OK. Margot Robbie's ass - way above OK. I give it a 2 out of 25 stars. Needed to go to that high of a range to allow for fractional stars. Movie was pointless and you could tell it was hacked to pieces by moron execs at WB. And the tattoos all over Robbie's Harley Quinn ruined it for me. Just a terrible terrible idea to do to her character. WB is just lost...its sad that they have all of these great properties that they keep shitting the bed with. And their animated shit is top notch! They should get the people involved with those to be the watchful eye of the live action stuff and I would actually have hope that it could be salvaged. |

Zach Snyder is like Michael Bay without the fun. He can't tell a story to save his life and just likes to suck the life and color out of everything. He's awful. Meanwhile, you had Feige at the helm of Marvel, and he gets it. He hires people with new and fresh ideas and they've been doing fantastic. The Russo Brothers were really nobodies and their pitch for the Winter Soldier blew him away and they basically nailed that job interview. And I really hope WW is good, but watching the trailers, it just does nothing for me. I'm not gonna see it in theaters, I'll see it on cable eventually, but their whole ass backwards DC movie universe bores me to death. |

I want to talk about the movie “Fight Club,” which caused me a lot of emotions and left a deep imprint on my memory. This film is a real find for connoisseurs of quality dramatic thrillers.
Let me start by saying that the acting in the film is simply superb. The film stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, who show off their masterful acting techniques. Their experiences, emotions and dialogues are conveyed to the viewer so vividly that it seems as if you yourself are in the shoes of the main characters.
The plot of the film is unique and unusual. It tells the story of an ordinary office worker who suffers from chronic soullessness in his life. In search of new sensations and experiences, he creates an underground fight club where men can vent their emotions and fight despair. But soon the main character realizes that the fight club is turning into a real nightmare for him.
Director David Fincher perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of the underworld, as well as the psychology of the main characters. He created a film that not only makes you think about the meaning of life and society, but also causes internal swings of emotions in the viewer.
I also want to note the quality of the cinematography in the film. The shots are shot wonderfully, and the color scheme and play of light create a special atmosphere of the film, full of dark shades that foreshadow the inevitable twists of the plot.
Fight Club is a film that is worth watching for anyone who appreciates quality cinema, deep meaning and exciting drama. This is a story that makes you think about the meaning of existence, the human soul and the contradictions in modern society. This film will not leave anyone indifferent.
