Steve Miller could come out here in 15 minutes and utterly suck and I wouldn't give a shit. That's how great Peter Frampton just was. Fucking great!

Not only did Steve Miller not suck, that was easily the best show I've seen him put on. He actually seemed to enjoy himself. And after he and Frampton jammed together on some old blues classics, he was even more engaged. Terrific show.

You are having quite an outdoor concert summer this year Otis. Having these casinos close by and competing for quality acts has been pretty cool. Had these shows been in Dallas I probably would have passed. Add to that both cities here have raised their games in their outdoor summer concert series and it's been a lot of fun. Grabbed tickets yesterday for Ringo Starr and his All Starr band. They are bypassing Dallas and playing up here. Todd Rundgren is playing in his band this time around. Never seen Runt live so I'm pretty stoked about this one. |

Ringo Starr ? Seriously ? That is hilarious . Talk about a guy with minimal talents swallowing a lucky pill early in life or what . He is still performing ? Unless he is stupid as a stick there is no chance he needs the dough.

One year a buddy of mine saw him at Billy Bob's with Joe Walsh, Mark Farner and Roger Hodgson. Like I said - my main goal is seeing Todd Rundgren. |

We were treated to a luxury box for the One Republic concert in Calgary this past Saturday;
Point 1 - luxury box with bar and food service and private Crapper is THE way to watch anything - bloody awesome
Point 2 - One Republic is fantastic live . I love a Singer that can really sing , and can rip it without computer assistance. Top drawer songwriter there

Saw Steely Dan a few years ago. It was one of the best shows I've ever experienced. Pure musicianship with impeccable sound.
