TAMPA — The Yankees' first day off of spring training became demotion day for three young players, as the club did some roster trimming for the second day in a row.
A day earlier, touted left-hander Justus Sheffield was among the first 11 cuts.
Here are the latest to be reassigned to the Yankees' minor-league camp with their Grapefruit League and 2016 stats, plus a breakdown of the team's updated roster.
