Until Stafford is gone. We'll never win a damn thing! I enjoyed Quinn's first year as GM. Good moves. Now the team has to not overshoot its talent so he can rid the team of that Mayhew mistake Caldwell

Now the team has to not overshoot its talent so he can rid the team of that Mayhew mistake Caldwell I think Stafford has come along way last couple seasons. Thought you'd like this there was an article suggesting the Lions take a TE round 1

Stafford is a born loser. Never won a thing at UGA and can't ever win a big game in the NFL. He's lost every important game he's been in in his life. Poor Quinn was banking on the Lions stinking next year so he could send stupid Caldwell packing and hire his boy McDaniels

My Facebook status 8 years ago today:
Matt Stafford is telling his UGA teammates that the Lions agreed to a contract with him. Please shoot me. Why didn't just sign Kyle Boller? He was a free agent, they're the same player. I'm done with the Lions.

Thank god they fixed the uniforms that Mayhew and Lewand destroyed! No more black trim!

He was a free agent, they're the same player. I'm done with the Lions. Cause Kyle Boller is a Tedford man which means he sucks. David Carr Trent Dilfer Boller Harrington Akili Smith and that off the top of my head I'm sure there is more. The only one that did anything was a guy who had to be retaught for 3 years before the Pack would let him on the field. That's a lot pf top 10 busts there

Fuck Eric Ebron Looks like you might fuck him for a few more seasons Are the Lions talking extension with Eric Ebron? Loved this quote "Let's just say (general manager) Bob (Quinn) is my guy, and we talk often, and, you know, we have things in place," Ebron said
I ain't even stirring anymore damned if they ain't doing it for me

Ebron is his own #1 fan, he doesn't talk in reality. He honestly think his production so far in his career is worthy of superstar accolades

A fucking maroon the best was that he tried to give himself the nickname Optimus Prime to pair with Megatron after he was drafted. That became Droptimus Prime before the end of September his rookie year

that's a statement of the piss poor FA class, not a celebration of Abdullah's ability. I wanted them to draft someone like Perine personally

I like him reminds me of Joe Morris without the ball security skills and injury prone Perine or Abdullah? I never wanted Abdullah, he acts like the ball is a greased pig Abdullah. But he has to learn to keep the ball off the carpet. Hoodie benches his players every time they fumble. You want to be on the field you make sure, it's about as basic as you get in teaching ball security. It keeps happening after that you end up a Jet or a Jag or a ... Love that he can run between tackles (which is one of the reasons he reminds me of Morris) as a small elusive guy that's rare. And with the breakaway speed and a better line if he solves his fumbling could be a force. If he keeps fumbling refer to the last sentence of the previous paragraph. Riddick and Abdullah could easily become Freeman Coleman 2.0. If you don't believe me Google search them (Devonte and Tevin) prior to the last 3 seasons

They aren't 10% of the Freeman-Coleman duo. Neither is big like Coleman and neither has an ounce of the talent Freeman does. When players can't stop fumbling(Abdullah the Butcher) or fucking catch(Droptimus Prime) I never want any part of them...and fuck face MAYHEW drafted them both

Freeman was looked at as a backup after his rookie season hence the Coleman pick and penciling in as starter. Freeman made the most of his second chance and was a top 5 ranked RB in fantasy cause of it. Well he wasn't playing well at the start of the season and Coleman started getting more reps and made the most of them. As for Abdullah this is his make or break year no doubt about it

I also am very happy with Quinn's initial draft class and loved getting Jarrad Davis and Teez Tabor this year Davis was a great pick. IMO Tabor is technically sound but that lack of speed at a position where it's a must scares me. He's going to need safety help in coverage

I also think the combine is the single most overrated pile of shit in the entire draft process. How fast you run for 40 yards in a straight line on a track with no one touching you while you aren't wearing any pads might be the most irrelevant thing that people actually put weight on

Not a single thing they do translates to football. Even the bench of o-linemen. With such long arms, a bench press can be tough to do a lot of reps on when you're lifting the bar a lot farther than someone much smaller. The entire thing is a joke. Obese linemen running the 40 with no shirts on is amusing though
