Then there's some real money to be made and some of the Super Bowl prop bets. Some of them are strange Like: 10-1 - will joe buck be clean shaved? Now why wouldn't Joe Buck just shave and he and friends and family, win millions of dollars on that bet?

Then there's some real money to be made and some of the Super Bowl prop bets. The over under on rushing yards for Tom Brady is 2.5. The over is +115.

I think this is more function of the fact that the Falcons can't tackle worth a shit and Edelman is great after the catch. Combine that with the fact that a lot of people think that Bill Bella check and take away any single weapon if he chooses and he will probably almost certainly choose that to be Julio Jones.

Malcolm Butler says finally getting to match up with Julio Jones is a dream come true.
Hmm... I expected him to be going against Sanu.

watch what a real QB does against that defense did you read the MMQB article that was posted during the Pats-Steelers game? it talked about how easy it is to coach Tom Brady for Belichick...he constantly has him competing with the local high school quarterback down the street. some Pats' players they interviewed said that they can win by 45 points in a blowout and Belichick will come in on Monday to review film and nitpick all the mistakes and errors in the game. players said when they leave, they feel like they just got drubbed by 45 points. that's what makes them so great

watch what a real QB does against that defense What defense? They have an occasional pass rush, and that's about it. Giant holes in the secondary that Bennett and Edelman will be camping out in all day long. Hogan is probably a 1000-yard receiver next year but I think this game belongs to Edelman and Bennett.

But they have alot of young guys and did improve down the stretch some. Packers shot themselves in the foot more than Atl stopped them imo

I really have no idea why teams don't follow Belichick's coaching practices. I know McCarthy copies Belichick's wet ball drill where he dunks it in a bucket of water and has the QB throw it or players handle it. Rodgers said it was stupid. which should never be said. there's always a reason for everything. if you can throw a football dunked in a bucket of water, you can throw a football in any type of weather.

Ripkowski should've went down instead of trying to run. the ATL defender (can't remember who it was) attempted to slap the ball out a couple times. the first time he attempted I would've just hit the ground. Aaron Rodgers is the QB, what's the reason to keep trying to force it? but their D set them up horribly. offense has to be PERFECT with how bad their D played. Rollins, Randle and Gunter were HORRIBLE this year. HORRIBLE. all had passer ratings above 110. they got TORCHED by Matt Ryan. even if GB somehow won that game, there's NO WAY they could even have a prayer of stopping Brady.

Look at the Steelers, they keep getting waxed by the Pats but keep playing the same way "why we keep losing to those assholes?" lol

case in point:
Asked when the Falcons would be getting their offensive game plan, Freeman said, “We’ve had the game plan. The game plan doesn’t change.”
Hoody says thank you very much

Q: How terrified are you of Goodell’s influence on the nuances and close calls that will inevitably determine the winner of Super Bowl 51? — Joey, Toronto BS: Too much money at stake. Besides, Goodell might believe a Patriots victory closes the Deflategate book; he might be rooting for them so the whole debacle finally goes away. Just know that no Patriots fan will ever forgive him. He’s up there (or down there) with Bill Laimbeer, Jack Tatum, Jack Hamilton, Ulf Samuelsson, Bernard Karmell Pollard and anyone else who Boston fans conditioned themselves to despise for life (whether they deserved it or not). It’s never changing

Q: Where would the Patriots winning and Brady taking the mic at the postgame interview and saying, “Hey, Roger, why don’t you check these balls?” rank on the vengeance scale? You at least have one neutral fan rooting for you guys. — Josh, Houston BS: My top-four draft picks for a Brady podium barb that he’d never actually say: 1. “What’s the matter, Roger? You look a little deflated!” 2. “This trophy was too big to shove up Roger’s ass, so I could only do it figuratively.” 3. “Hey, Roger, why don’t you check THESE balls!” [Grabs his nuts.] 4. “It’s an honor to be standing on this podium with all these great people … and Roger Goodell.”

I give Adrian credit for being honest.
Q: Are the Falcons anything other more than a speed bump for the Patriots? Atlanta was forced to use their last reserve of mojo to overcome Dwight Howard cursing them before the NFC championship game, then shellacked a depleted Packers team Holmes-vs.-Ali-style — and now they have to face an angry, chemistry-laden Patriots team that’s on a quest to give the ultimate eff-you to Goodell. It’s not fair! Does ANYTHING about this Falcons team’s story feel like that of a Super Bowl champion, as opposed to a destined-to-be-forgotten footnote to B&B’s last hurrah? — Adrian, Atlanta
BS: News flash: Atlanta is REALLY good. Tons of speed on both sides, multiple big-play guys, terrific indoors, hot QB, smart coaching staff … shit, even Atlanta’s “story line” works. Julio Jones as this generation’s Rice/Moss/Megatron? Matt Ryan going against his mentor? Last year of the Georgia Dome? Atlanta sports/culture renaissance led by the FX show, Gucci Mane’s triumphant return from prison, Matty Ice and everyone else? All the Atlanta celebs dominating social media for the next 10 days? The real possibility that this would be The Greatest Moment in Atlanta Sports History, replacing … I mean, is there even a Greatest Moment in Atlanta Sports History? Anyway, I love the spread: New England by 3. Totally fair. Brady against Matt Ryan … that’s worth a field goal. Everything else is even. (Nice try with the reverse jinx, Adrian.)

Super Bowl 2017 picks and predictions: Experts think Falcons will win 1st ever Lombardi Trophy
Atlanta is SB Nation’s experts’ pick by a 6-3 margin over the Patriots. by Christian D'Andrea@TrainIsland Jan 30, 2017, 8:00am EST The Atlanta Falcons are going to win Super Bowl LI. That is, of course, according to SB Nation’s NFL experts. Matt Ryan’s MVP-level breakthrough campaign has instilled all sorts of confidence in the NFC champions, even as they’re set to face the four-time Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots. The Falcons are a 6-3 pick to take home their first ever Super Bowl crown, earning the trust of former player Stephen White, NFL writers Thomas George, Jeanna Thomas, and Louis Bien, and even the OddsShark computer simulation. It’s easy to see why they’re a popular choice. Atlanta has crushed its opposition in the postseason so far, outscoring Seattle and Green Bay — two of the league’s hottest teams in their own right — by a combined score of 80-41. Ryan has been a monster in that span, throwing for 730 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions. It helps he’s got the equivalent of a video game cheat code at wideout. Julio Jones became the first player in league history to have two playoff games with 150-plus receiving yards and at least two touchdowns. He needed just five postseason opportunities to get there, thanks to man-among-boys plays like this 73-yard score. Half the panel picking Atlanta didn’t expect the Patriots to make it this far. White, Bien, and David Fucillo were the only three panelists to pick a Pittsburgh upset last Sunday in Foxborough. If there’s any comfort for New England fans in their prognostication, it’s that they were extremely wrong — the Pats never trailed in a 36-17 stomping of the Steelers. Tom Brady (and his enormous coat) capitalized on his history of strong performances against Pittsburgh to punch a ticket to his seventh Super Bowl. Brady threw for 384 yards and three touchdowns to up his playoff passer rating against the Steelers to a sterling 118.3. Brady has been similarly impressive against the Falcons. He’s 4-0 all-time against Atlanta with a 9:1 touchdown:interception ratio and an average 10-point margin of victory. But none of those four wins came against a Dan Quinn defense, or with potential NFL Defensive Player of the Year Vic Beasley bearing down on him. Brady has struggled against ferocious pass rushes, and if there’s any coach who can find a way to make him uncomfortable, it’s Quinn, who previously bullied Brady as the Seahawks’ defensive coordinator. The Patriots’ defense will offer Atlanta a challenge as well. The Falcons’ recent surge came against two conference foes with patchwork secondaries. The Seahawks were much worse against the pass after losing All-Pro safety Earl Thomas to a broken leg late in the season. The Packers had been ravaged by injury all season, poking Swiss-cheese sized holes in an already weak unit. On Sunday, Ryan and Jones will stare down a dynamic defense that held opponents to fewer points than anyone else in the league. All-Pros Devin McCourty and Malcolm Butler will do everything in their power to slow down one of the NFL’s most explosive aerial attacks. Super Bowl LI will come down to which superstar quarterback can make the biggest plays against an all-star defense. According to SB Nation’s top minds, Matt Ryan and the Falcons have the edge. 2016 NFL weekly panel picks Game RVB Stephen White Thomas George Jeanna Thomas Adam Stites Louis Bien Joel Thorman Fooch OddsShark Computer NE vs ATL NE ATL ATL ATL NE ATL NE ATL ATL Last week 1-1 1-1 1-1 2-0 1-1 1-1 1-1 1-1 2-0 Playoffs 7-3 7-3 7-3 8-2 8-2 8-2 7-3 7-3 8-2 Regular season 156-98-2 161-93-2 160-94-2 158-96-2 154-100-2 147-107-2 161-93-2 150-104-2 167-87-2 www.sbnation.com/nfl/2017/1/30/14431304/2017-super-bowl-51-picks-predictions-falcons-favored-over-patriots
