yeah....he is no Buchholz
that is a bargain if he does what he did last year, He started the 1st 2 months of the season in the pen....still had 180 innings. He will be in the rotation all year.

I still put KC solidly in 2nd in the ALCent.....not sure if its enough for a WC.

I still put KC solidly in 2nd in the ALCent.....not sure if its enough for a WC.
He's had a couple good years along the line, but a 89-79 record with a 4.44 ERA and a 90 ERA+ seems to indicate the Royals won't miss him. I still think the Tigers look pretty good in that division. |

On paper you are correct. I wonder how the long/futile postseason run effects them this year? I'm not sure I trust those starters to stay healthy. I certainly don't trust Brantley to stay healthy. Encarnacion was a steal. They do look like the favorites on paper. |

and they have the OF depth to cover a Brantley injury......Guyer, Naquin & Chisenhall......lots of young guys on that team whose arrows should be pointing up.

With the Duffy extension, Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore continued his quietly good winter given owner David Glass’s mandate that he had to cut payroll. Moore also repeatedly insisted that he would try to extend some of the core players set to become free-agents after the 2017 season.
