We are forgetting that was more catch than throw. Rodgers even hinted to that. That was in the perfect spot. This is expected though.

we're just gonna gloss over Rodger's awful pick that made it a nail biter? Yeah. Because Dak had a pretty bad one too. He even admitted as much after the game. Love what Rodgers said about Dak and Zeke though.

Why did dak spike the ball with 48 seconds left after that first down though? Made no sense.

Dak Prescott is really good
I thought at the time, Dallas spiking the ball, wasting a down, and saving time for Rodgers, was pretty strange

Thats nonsense. When any great qb is on, theyre unstoppable. While what you said is true Its not the same thing that I was saying. I just don't know what that means. "When they're on" is something that I think you could apply to at least 20 QBs and they're overall "score" if you will, would be perfection. Is Aaron Rodgers "when he's on" any better than Peyton Manning when he was on? Peyton was a fucking machine. For my money? Nobody threw a better football, ever, than Dan Marino did. When he was on? That's QB porn, if you ask me. I think Rodgers throws the best ball in the NFL now, but his best is no better than any other elite guys best. That's what makes them elite.

Peyton's brilliance was on his mental game IMO. Rodgers just does it all physically and then makes perfect throws and when he throws the ball it looks like about the same effort as when I toss a ball of trash into the can two feet next to me.

How dont you know what it means. Its a very simple statement. When Aaron Rodgers is at his very best. He plays the position better than anyone can and has, period. I thought the same of Steve Young and Elways. They can beat you any single way possible. In many ways, their skill sets allowed them to be the best combo of player to play the possition to perfection. Brady, Manning, Marino, Montana etc are all limited in that they cant beat you with their legs. They all had much more more dependence on protection. Now that said, Rodgers has been kind of inconsistent when looking at greatest of all time. Young never did it long enough. To me, Elway is the best. But its personal preference to some degree.

Dont confuse what im saying with having the best career or even season.
Just when the guys i listed were clicking on all cylinders, the position cant be played better.

Hard to ever feel bad for Jerry jones. Definitely not And the majority of cowboys fans But guys like Dak I feel bad for Dak did handle it professionally and well for a rookie (as far as I've seen). I have no issues with him. He did almost everything he could. The only second guessing I'd do about him was spiking the ball on their last drive. They extend the clock by 4 seconds on that drive, and they go to ot.
