Major League Baseball's current collective-bargaining agreement expires on December 1, and Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports is now reporting a lockout could happen if an agreement isn't reached.
According to sources, owners will consider voting to lock out the players if an agreement isn't reached. This would mark the first MLB labor problems in 21 years.
Owners aren't pleased with the pace of the players' union, but there are a few issues players intend to stand pat on. Even if the lockout starts the next day, there's still plenty of time for both parties to reach an agreement.
