Hello, gentlemen...
The Wizards are only 2 games behind the Celtics for second in the East..
Yup, you read that right.
Hell of a hoops weekend.

I know that IT is far from perfect, but I'm hoping that they keep him around. The guy carries the team offensively and is ridiculously efficient most nights. At one point on Saturday, he had over 30 points on like 11 shots. i love, , love love his game and attitude. he can be what employee number 8 was here, marketing wise, and fan base wise, for the team. He is what #8 was from a typical fan POV. He's confident to the point of cocky. He's an exciting player to watch. From a basketball POV, he is the polar opposite. He's efficient and he stays within himself.

Antoine could have been a hall of famer if he stayed within himself.... His insistence on bombing threes and not doing enough offensive rebounding drove me crazy

I still remember when he was part of that big deal between the Pacers and Bulls. Brad Miller = overrated.

I hated walker and I obviously love IT. ughhh i hated walker. I understand why people wouldn't like him. But if you saw the body of work that he put in with the Celtics? When he played the game the way he should've played? He was an excellent basketball player. That team could have won a title if Rick Pitino didn't trade away Chauncey Billups after 43 games.

That was a serious fuckup. A few good drafts and more patience, and things would have been a lot better. Pitino was a shit judge of personnel, and Wallace was even worse. If I ever meet that fuckbag Wallace in person, I'm going to thank him for fucking up the Celtics for a decade and a half.

Oh, and they traded Joe Johnson 50 games into his career. I understood why they did that deal, but it was short sighted

And he always looked out of shape. Whatever the reasons, a lot of people hated Walker because he could have been so much more productive. Everyone saw it. He pissed away an agile 6'8" with a nose for the ball and the basket. He wanted to be a shooting guard, and he was never willing to put in the work. If he had played closer to the rim, he would have been so much better.

Early in his career he was poisoned by being the only talent on a shit team. Pitino let him do whatever the fuck he wanted. I remember the first time I watched him get beat down the court on a fast break after A MADE BASKET because he was busy shimmying after making a three.

I think that lack of veteran leadership was the biggest contrbuting factor. Crappy professional coaching second. Being the most talented player on an NBA team as a 20yo didn't help. And last, and probably least, not being very bright or having good habits, he had no way to overcome the first few factors.

That Celtics team wasn't winning shit. In the short term, I agree. Walker, Pierce, Billups, Joe Johnson. Who knows what else could be added. That's just the guys they drafted. Pitino/Wallace pissed that away.

Since I am on a roll here are some other maxims:
LeBron needs to STFU and play. Your owner has spent more than any other team since he returned to his "hometown"
Phil Jackson needs to go. He missed his opportunity when he failed to get rid of Melo when he first took over. Now you are looking at rebuild #3 and he is worthless in trade value

What is the thought of Dion Waiters playing the 3?
Miami, being the dumb fucks they are, will take some of his minutes away with Johnson coming back.
He is finding his own....which leads me to believe with a guy like Stevens, he could really get some productive minutes in Boston.

Wow, he is only 6 4, that kinda ruins that plan. I thought he was more 6 6.

TJ McConnell Sixers turned down trading him to Cavs. Woulda been a real nice move for Cleveland. Imteresting... cause supposedly Simmons will be running point.

I think that speaks to what we have been saying, that kid can play. And you know if Simmons wakes up with a headache the sixers are sitting him next year. Whoever is the PG on paper will get plenty of PG minutes despite the use of Simmons.

He might not be able to stic at PG, would be a hell of a luxury to have mcconnell as the fall back plan
