The Celtics are only an injury to LeBron away from being a serious contender for the NBA Finals. Maybe in optics, since they're the #2, but not in reality. We wouldn't take a game off To***to come playoff time. Or Cleveland, even without Lebron. The Raptors are struggling. I'm not sure if they make a move, but if they don't upgrade their front court (Ibaka maybe), I see this version of the Celtics giving them trouble. I thiink they beat the Cavs if the Cavs don't have Lebron. Lebron is so key to what that team does...

That works against mediocre coaches and teams that play 80% effort most of the time in the regular season. We're a 5 seed disguised as a 2 seed IMO. Great to watch, guys are developing and getting experience. Play their hearts out almost every minute of every game. Just don't have the players to compete for a conference.

I agree with your assessment of their actual standing in the East, I just think those matchups are more in their favor. The weakness of those squads have been their defense.

Matt Barnes may have been involved, haha:
LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police say burglars got away with more than $300,000 worth of jewelry from the home of former Lakers guard Derek Fisher.
Officer Drake Madison says he doesn't know if the suspects got away with any of Fisher's five NBA championship rings though TMZ Sports is reporting Fisher's championship hardware was indeed stolen.

Derek Fisher doesn't come off as the "$300K in jewelry" type...

Ha..Great win vs. the Kings... No JoJo I know. The Kings are without Gay, no, not MD, Rudy Gay, their small forward.

I'd have more respect for Lebron if he said this to Charles:
"Hey I'm not the guy at 33 without a ring, who turned into cottage pudding in his 30's all while being a degenerate gambling alcoholic who let Dan Marjele fuck me in the ass".

LOL at cottage pudding 2. Barkley was cottage pudding in his 20s. Was being called the round mound of rebound while on the 6ers from like day 1.

He's (LeBron) a whiner...lets call it what it is. He was living in gubmint housing and driving a Hummer in HS back when having a Hummer was a big deal Barkley was a head case and is now paid to talk

I followed the NBA pretty close in the era, Barkley actually got himself into pretty good shape when he was traded to the Suns. He couldn't win shit but ya whatever

Also would like to know why more heat isn't on Tyrone Lue? He has about one season of head coaching experience by now and I think his weaknesses are starting to show.

Because he was hand picked by BronBron. The only logical move would be for Lue to get canned and Bron become a player-coach. But then there would be one less person for LeBron to blame when things go south.

Worst kept secret in the world is that the Whore from Akron is running that team. They can't say no to him because he will pout, and when he pouts its epic

Sports Illustrated did an article a few years ago, where the top 5 biggest whiners were:
Kobe Duncan Lebron Pierce Nowtizki

I think its selective though. Jordan was a big whiner too. So was Magic. So was Reggie Miller. So Was John Stockton and Steve Nash.

FWIW, I have been wondering for a long time when someone was going to bitch about something that Charles, KG, or any of those guys says about current players. They're pretty frank. I have no beef with Lebron, but Chuck is right. Not cool to sell your teammates short to the media. And not cool to be thin-skinned about being called out for it. He's bitching about being called out for calling others out?? Really? Loved what Charles had to say about the response also. "doesn't change my criticism of him"

I dunno man, every interview he says how much he loves sactown and he wants to retire there and have his number in the rafters That franchise is so ass backwards and can't build around a guy like that... I kinda want to see him go so he can win somewhere (not to Boston)

Just saw the rumor with Phoenix.. 3 first rounders and two players? I'm not familiar with either, but that doesn't sound terrible
