Silver lining in this - whether it's Korea in 2 years (hope like hell not - the Olympics needs the NHL way more than the NHL needs the Olympics ) or the next WC of Hockey... there will be changes with Team USA. I read where Buttplug said Team North America was better than the 7th or 8th team in the tournament. I can name another one. I was reading where the IOC wasn't thrilled about the cost of the NHL players and I know the owners aren't thrilled about disrupting the season and risking injury to their players so why not just shake hands and go your separate ways? |
