Interlocking schedule NFC WEST and AFC WEST
Carolina Panthers 11-5 Clearly the class of the South the Panthers will extend their title run to 4 straight behind a top 3 D and a well rounded offense led by 2015 MVP Newton.. Gettleman has built this team from the inside out, the old school way
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-7 After the surprise firing of Lovie Smith the Bucs decide to keep Winston's continuity going with the promotion of OC Dirk Koetter to HC. This is a team on the rise and I expect will be challenging the Panthers in the foreseeable future. Just not 2016.
Atlanta Falcons 8-8 The Falcons were a Jekyll and Hyde team in 2015 Were they the 5-0 juggernaut that started the season or the 3-8 team that closed it I tend to believe somewhere in the middle. I believe the team will make great strides in season 2 under Coach Quinn even though it won't show up in their record as their schedule is a lot tougher than the one they had in 2015
New Orleans Saints 6-10 Brees' window is damn near shut and they still haven't got that D fixed yet but it should be better in 2016 it would be hard to be worse. That said the offense is evolving into a more even run/pass ratio which given Brees' diminishing arm strength is a smart play. That said without a passable D this team is just an around 500 team
