The Vikings (11-5) lead by AP and a solid Defense won the North last season, ending the Packers run of 5 straight division titles. Does AP at 30 years old have another All-Pro season in him? Can QB Teddy Bridgewater take the step up from game manager to team leader?
In Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers had his "worst" full year since he became the starter. Losing top WR Jordy Nelson for the season didnt help and RB Eddie Lacy was inconsistent to say the least.
The Bears (6-10) were marred by injuries, as only four players started all sixteen games. Jay Cutler improved tenfold under new offensive coordinator Adam Gase, and the defense looked much better with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio at the helm.
In Detroit the story is the sudden retirement of All Pro WR Calvin Johnson. They also hired former Patriots director of scouting Bob Quinn to be their new GM. Most execs and coaches that get purged from NE don't pan out so time will tell if Quinn can buck that trend and get the Lions their first play off win since 1991
I like the Pack to win a tight race with the Vikes to win the North...Who you got?

Packers, easily. Great D, Lacy is healthier, in better shape and ready to play. They improved their TE position with Jared Cook & Jordy Nelson is healthy. Plus, they didn't have to suffer through that horrible Hall of Fame game

Took the Queens last year. Probably a little early. Just cannot dismiss the Packers. As long as they remain healthy, they are one of the three best teams in the NFC. Now - if the Minnesota wants to do something about that... go take it.
I am curious about the Bears. I think they can be good even with Cutler. Not curious the Lions. They'll battle the Whiners for last in the NFC.

Not sure who's really in the back-field with Forte gone and Martellus Bennett gone too, they're not really set up for a lot of success. I see a .500 finish at best

nterlocking schedule NFC EAST AFC SOUTH
Green Bay Packers 12-4 The Pack ride the easiest sched in the NFL to home field advantage in the playoffs. Lacy starts doing Weight Watcher ads The offense is fixed and the defense holds together with duct tape
Minnesota Vikings 11-5 The Vikes defense starts to look like a top 5 D for the foreseeable future. Treadwell eventually gets 1st team reps as the offense starts to spread it's wings Is Teddy B the one to taker them to the promised land
Detroit Lions 9-7 Are the Lions the 1-7 1st half team or the 6-2 juggernaut that lost one game on a Hail Mary and the following week. I tend to believe they were a bit more the second half than 1st half team They won't be down there with the Niners they have the NFC Least on their sched
Chicago Bears 8-8 The makeovers almost done after Pace and Fox's 2nd offseason and although the difference from top to bottom in this division is a lot closer than it was before they came to town They are still a few parts away from being a serious contender in the North
