Washington in 2016 was similar to the Air Coryell era in SD. A top flite offense with a replacement calibre defense. If they want to be a serious contender they need to improve all elements of their D. McCloughan has his work cut out for him. Rumors persist that he's going to his Seattle pipeline to start the makeover with Gus Bradley to be their DC

Worst move
not locking up Cousins last season as he is probably now going to get 22-25M in free agency
Don't be surprised if
Jimmy Garoppolo is front and center in DC trade rumors
Teams off season needs
D-line, athletic ILB, safety, maybe a WR depending on free agency departures
The conundrum in DC, pay Cousins elite money or let him walk. Until that is settled hard to decipher their team needs.
