They are in trouble.
The packers and vikings are looking pretty damn good this year.....the lions could be awful.

The Vikings are looking good but they need Teddy B. to step up his game if they want to be more than one and done. Packers had some problems last season moving the ball and if you figure Jordy Nelson is going to solve that by himself than they have some bigger problems to solve but at least with AaRod they are always in a game. Need to get their defense higher up the charts than middle of the pack. AaRod is great but he's not a miracle worker. Lions stunk up the 1st half the season until they canned Lombardi and promoted Cooter to OC They were quite good over the second half but their terrible start guaranteed they'd be picking early. If they play offense like the last half season and D like they did in 2014 they could contend. But that's a lot of ifs I see a 7-9 to 9-7 finish

The Lions were the little engine who could I doubt there will ever be a team that was behind in the 4th quarter 15 out of 16 games and makes the playoffs again. Best move Firing Martin Mayhew and replacing him with Bob Quinn Patriots ex-National scout always like to see scout or personnel men as GM's over bean counters Worst move Trading Jermaine Kerley for a practice squad player. Kerley was the only bright spot besides Hyde for the Niners in 2016 Don't be surprised if the Lions totally remake their O-line this offseason Teams off season needs Depending on resigning Reiff LT, OG CB, and a pass rushing presence are all high on the Lions wishlist a true #1WR and a bellcow RB to take pressure off Stafford would also be welcomes
