Some say kaepernick's days are numbered but I have a feeling he just may win the starting job. It wasn't that long ago he ran roughshod all over Green Bay in 2 playoff games and in the regular season AND almost pulled out a SB Victory. he would have if the lights didn't go out...
Most are saying Gabbert but I don't think so.

Most are saying Gabbert but I don't think so. They have lost a lot of their top players over the last 3 seasons with little help coming from the draft during that time. This is a 6-10 to 8-8 team at best. As for Gabbert or Kaep hard to say Kaep has not progressed as a passer the last 2 seasons some would even say he's regressed, Gabbert on the other hand was thrown into the fire with a pitiful team with no direction. And looked like he had developed David Carr syndrome (towner would call it Joey Harrington syndrome but I digress) The Niners who were laughed at for signing him, have rebuilt him and he is now showing why he was so highly sought after out of college. Is he a 'Franchise' QB hardly, but he could play 10 years as a nomad bridge starter. Kaep on the other hand is going to have to take his film study more seriously (not unlike his QB doppleganger RG3) if he is going to be anything other than a great athlete that plays QB (Kordell Stewart) as opposed to a QB that is a great athlete (Russell Wilson)

Now that the Browns at least have a gameplan how to rebuild the most dysfunctional team in the NFL has to be the Niners Best move Firing Trent Baalke and starting a massive upheaval Worst move Not firing him and starting this last season Don't be surprised if the Niners lose more games in 2017 Team needsthis is the worst roster in the league bar none. Hard to believe that this team just 4 seasons ago had been to the last 3 NFC championship games prior to that.

Yes it's hard to believe and I'm not saying they are on par with the Patriots Packers Seahawks Steelers for stability they just have more than the Niners do. The bar is still real low, like shin high
