Fucking Davies brothers. Why can't rock n roll brothers get along like the southern boys: Allman Brothers, Caldwell brothers.

Grew up in Texas, riding horses almost every weekend since I was 8-years-old. This song resonates

I'd choose Linda over Stevei every time. Jerry Brown never hit that. Everyone knows he sucks dick.

Ronstadt, Jackson Brown, and the first edition of the Eagles (before Henley and Frey got rotten on cocaine and ran off Randy Misner and Bernie Leadon). You can see Don Fielder in the background. He was just second fiddle to Leadon then. Also, a much thinner and much more feminine Michelle Obama appears at the 3 minute mark.

Released 43 years ago today this was written by Pete T. for his girlfriend and is one of Daltrey's favourite songs.

I hear Born To Be Wild in my head everytime I'm out on the highway on my bike. I know, kinda gayish. I don't ask the tune to enter my head. It just arrives on its own. The pic isn't my bike, but my bike is the same year, same model, same color scheme, same modified pipes, minus the saddle bags.

Don't recall hearing this one before, but its a good tune. After Led IV, which is the greatest rock album ever IMO, I gave up on them because I knew they could never top it. I tried to get into House Of The Holy but it just never bit. HOTH almost sounded like they were trying to mimic the Beatles. After HOTH, I was done with them.

He liked his female bass players. Check out the one in this vid, she was a teenager when she started with him. Intro'd by Bill Murray Australian Tal Wilkenfeld. The story of how she got that gig is interesting. She's 37 years old now. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tal_Wilkenfeld
