Maybe Brady should just quit crying and accept his punishment like a man.

I don't care what team a player represents. If he violates the rules then there should be appropriate punishment.

Brady is smart. He and his attorneys knew he would lose this in the end. It is in the CBA and 'thems the rules' as agreed to by all parties until a new CBA comes around. Brady is smart because he restructured his contract so he only loses around $275,000 for those four games instead of millions if he had not. The man had a game plan.

So you're saying he's a whiny little bitch? Zig's not gonna like that! lol I'm used to this shit. Nobody ever says Goodell should have just accepted it when he lost the first time. Nope, Brady is the only one fighting/prolonging this nonsense I'm just curious what team gets it next now that Roger knows he doesn't even need proof and shit like this is very profitable, keeps the NFL in the news year round which is really all the league cares about these days. He is already out of control, very inconsistent with his punishments, we can expect him to be even worse now but idiots think this is great news...

I don't think it's great news and I wish the league had documented the weights of the ball before and during every game in 2015. And we would really know the chances that they were tampered with. It is really the leagues fault as they were too cheap to pay a couple extra league personnel to take care of the balls instead of the teams personnel doing it. No other sport does this, although the teams supply the balls, pucks etc they are given to the league personnel before games and are in their control when they are not in play. The extra costs to the league would have amounted to under 5K per team per season

The extra costs to the league would have amounted to under 5K per team per season Especially given that a) The Colts alerted the league before the game they suspected the Pats of using "soft balls" and b) for the 1st time in 19 years Anderson "lost track" of the balls before the game. Seems like they should have went and got the back up balls and checked the ones they "lost track of" right away. All we know is Anderson said the Pats balls were set to 12.5 pregame and the Colts to 13. Yet if you seen the charts, both teams balls had all different measurements at half time. No 2 measurements were the same, the 2 gauges were off from each other and not even consistently off, any where from .3 to .5... If this rule is so important and there's only a 1 PSI "tolerance" (12.5-13.5)maybe you should use some decent gauges lol A good chunk of that tolerance is used up just in the diff between the gauges in this case. Still waiting for the "Science" deniers to explain a) the widely varied measurements at halftime of both teams balls and why the Colts balls also lost air. Not saying the Pats are innocent, I really don't know. There's some circumstantial evidence that looks bad but there's some actual facts that lead me to believe they didn't do anything. I do think the penalties are waaay too much though

Because of their previous actions (or alleged actions) this is looked at differently then if and when the Colts or any team for that matter did it

I do think the penalties are waaay too much though I think the politically smart thing to do would be to reduce the suspension. Try to make good with the Kraft organization. But at this point Goodell is in all out muscle flex mode. The Patriots fought it and fought it and took it to court and fought it some more (despite Robert Kraft stating up front that they would accept all punishments). Now that the US Appeals Court upheld I expect Goodell to stick it to them and reduce nothing. I like the 2 game option but it won't happen. Goodell was embarrassed by Kraft and Brady and now the courts said he was "right" in his suspensions... He isn't going to reduce it because now he has "the power" to stick it in the face of Kraft and company

NEWS FLASH! Kraft is the ONLY owner not happy and that is because it is his dog getting whipped. 31 NFL owners are happy with it because they prefer that the commissioner they elect has real power and the final say and not the NFLPA. Kraft is no doubt red faced about it all now, so what? Honestly? No one knows what the league office completely knows and for anyone to think it would take those draft picks and four games from a league face like Brady " just because " -well- that scenario seems highly unlikely.
