Just for Swampy. BigD, please answer the white courtesy phone. Peavy v Wood. Checking out the lineups for both teams today, I have to give the pregame advantage to the Giants today. I say that, as I think Peavy still has enough in the tank to get the job done. As for the Dodger youngster Wood, other than a funky / deceptive delivery, I don't see him as very special.
And, the Giants have their usual 8 in the field today, whereas the Dodgers are resting Crawford, Turner, and Ellis, for different reason.
But, they don't play the game "on paper", so, we shall see......

So far, this is still a huge payday for the Dodgers, while at the same time, a huge F.U to all local Dodger fans. Luckily, there are so many fans, that any that drop off because of this will not break their bank. |
