this is surprising in a sense, but in another sense, it's not. they're pursuing Bryan Colangelo and he's expected to be named GM of the team in the coming days after his father is higher up than that. also, a really interesting read - if you want to read 13 pages (it does read quick) - is his 13-page resignation letter that ESPN was able to get their hands on. extremely interesting and you can really see his fantastic philosophy of how to improve the 76ers from bottom in the league to a team with a ton of upside.
