Signed Lance Dunbar to a 1 year deal.
His is loss may have been just as significant as Romo's. He was a serious contributor out of the backfield until he got hurt and they never did find someone to replace him in that part of the offense. He probably won't be ready for the start of the season but should play. I like this move.

The Cowboys have had a lot of "Off" seasons Otis but I never thought you'd start a thread about it. FYI-The Cowboys ARE the BEYOND in Bed, Bath and Beyond. It is a natural progression. |

I'm voting for 2010 as my favourite "off" season. Granted there have been much worse but the 2010 expectations were so high it feels like the worst.  |

Interesting to see what is done about the back up QB. All in all - I wouldn't mind rolling with Kellen Moore again. The kid has limitations but didn't embarrass himself out there. And - it's not like he had actual weapons to work with. Once Dez, Romo and Dunbar went down and Randle revealed himself as a complete bust, this team wasn't going anywhere. And - if Romo can't go, this team isn't going anywhere this year either. I say - rebuild the defense... draft a RB... maybe even a WR... and push on. This team isn't going to compete with the Panthers, Seahawks and Cardinals. But - they can win this sorry division. |

If you notice the 3 I noted all could be mail carrier types (like that term better than bell cow. What the fuck is a bell cow anyways?!?) Just ain't sure Dixon would have the production jumping 2 levels, then again who'd have thought Thomas Rawls would rush for more yards in a game than Beast Mose ever did twice in 10 games |
