There’s a lot of circumstantial evidence against New England. Patriots locker room attendant Jim McNally disappearing with the footballs before the AFC Championship Game for 100 seconds was wrong, and shady. McNally and team equipment assistant John Jastremski being held back from an additional interview with the Wells investigators was wrong. The six phone calls, once the NFL announced it would investigate whether the balls were deflated, from Brady to Jastremski when they rarely ever spoke on the phone doesn’t quite stink, but it’s got an odor to it. McNally calling himself “the deflator” in a May 2014 text is a bad look. The above is more than enough for me. To deny that something shady was going on and that they were looking to gain an advantage thanks to the shady stuff is just about impossible to deny. The punishment was way too heavy though...

"the non punishment was too harsh" well, im referring to the punishment handed out, before brady cried that the punishment the commish (that the players agreed to give the power to) gave out.

Every team felt the wrath.

The punishment was way too heavy though... i think the penalty was a bit much, but i cant think of what would be the "right" punishment. 1. brady suspension: due to him "knowing about it/potentially encouraging it" 2. fine: does a million bucks REALLY punish the pats? i'd imagine that's a drop in the bucket for them 3. draft picks: they are a bit much, but it's the best way to actually punish the TEAM, bc they were as much as at fault if not more than brady. Agreed, not sure what the right punishment was for the team, but a first rounder was the "too heavy" portion for me...What was the Falcons punishment for piping in the fake crowd noise? I see the balls being deflated as a comparable offense... Brady should have gotten a fine, had he cooperated....Since he choose not to and the NFL wasn't able to prove their case scientifically that he cheated vs. the Colts, I'm still undecided on that...

Best thing he did was destroy his cell phone. I still laugh at his excuse. But it worked in his favor....for now.

He's a smart dude that eventually hired a smart lawyer....I don't think that one asshole lawyer that was initally releasing statements was capable of such a smart idea...

They had the 2 lackey's phones plus a few others. They would have had any texts from Brady to those 2 from their phones. Not sure how that's so hard to understand. Who else would Brady be texting with about the balls but he ball boys? They had evrything they were going to get about the "scheme" already from the ball boys phones. Even a nit wit like me knows texts go 2 ways...
meanwhile Brady's personal shit got leaked out anyway. emails about Jughead being finished, what pool cover Brady bought...Yeah give your phone to these people lol

So, a 5th rounder sounds appropriate to you too?
