Word.....All you have to do is watch these games.........They get nothing from 85% of that team......All we need to know is that the Co-MVP's of this series are Boris Fucking Diaw and Kwan Leonard, not the 2 Hall Of Famers, and not Ginobli so what you're saying is LeBron James can't do it all by himself? See I just want to be sure because you have told us for the past 5 years that LeBron James does it all by himself. I'm confused. Ahhh, you re-arrange conversations to suit whatever fits, this is nothing new What i have always said, is that Lebrons teams CANNOT win unless he is at the top of his game, thats different than "Doing it by himself" like the Jordan Humpers imply about Michael And the fact that Boris Diaw and Kwami Leonard are the best players for the Spurs in this series tells you that HOF'ers Tim Duncan and Tony Parker do NOT have to be at the top of their games to win

Word.........People are taking advantage of the fact we dont remember every single Jordan Moment, or the games in which his teammates had to pick up some slack.....Revisionist history at its best, its so easy to sit here and act as if Jordan got the same help from his team as Lebron gets from his...... Thats why I bring up the Pacers/Bulls ECF in 98. It was Jordan's first game 7 in 8 years. He was nervous that game, Pacers attacpked him early and they were up double digits the first quarter and 13 in the 3rd. He didnt score a single basket the last 8 minutes of that game when the Pacers were still winning, it took guys like Pippen and Longley to bail him out. Jordan had a couple of big offensive rebounds, on his way to shooting 30% for the game. "greatest of all time" defining the man's entire career off of one game. Sounds logical to me.

That one stands out because it was unusual circumstances for Jordan, being in his first game 7 in a long time. Even the play by play guys saw just how tenative Jordan was because it was some uncharted territory. We can hop back in that time machine and find the plethora of Jordan games where he shot under 40% and was "bailed out" by some scrawny white guy on the team. But why bother right?

And the last team to go the finals 4 straight years were Larry Bird's Celtics. 84 thru 87....not the Lakers. The East lebron has dominated? is a fuckig shit show... and we are really starting to witness that this year. I doubt that will it now widget. He says that Tom Brady has more regular season and post season wins than anybody ever really because of the division and conference they playing. Basically he's a 500 player if he's in the NFC. But the fact that LeBron James and his Miami Heat are getting their salad tossed by a team from the West Coast after moon walking through the entire Eastern Conference? Nah thats all Mario Chalmers baby his jumper isn't falling right through Oklahoma City or the clippers or Golden State. Am i right?

No, but they do lose, as they did that game, 93-90 And Agree to dis-agree on the quality of the opponent...With Apologies to Ox, The Pacers didnt really impress me in that postseason run, getting past the Wizards and Hawks Apologize for what? I know the East is bad, its the Pacers/Heat.......everyone else. You'll never hear me say otherwise. This is just the LBJ Bashing day. And its not like the Heat have a bad record against the West this year either. Its the Heat... And everybody else... The Pacers have proven to be completely overrated...

You'd have a better point if the Heat didn't just come off 2 titles against that same Western Conference. You make it sound as if this is an every season trend, like tha Pats

Well, we all know Jordan did it by himself. Yeah.... I've only called Scottie Pippen a top twenty all time player.... when I was arguing on Pippens behalf you fought me on that. Now that you are forced to clean up dirt's mess for him? Now Pippen is the shit, baby... Am I right?

Michael Jordan deferred to Jon Paxson so they can win a title. Paxson just made his shot. Or is Mario Chalmers just a pile of fucking garbage who would be a [HASH]2 PG anywhere else?

I'ma break it down for you all.
LeBron is a probably a top 3 all time NBA and maybe GOAT if he plays at this level a few more years.
But this Heat team was engineered to have a benefit that few if any other teams received which was akin to three allstar buddies deciding to form their own team. Then you have studs (but past their prime) guys like Ray Allen hopping on board for less money because they want another ring.
So if the Heat lose, sorry, but I'm not shedding any tears for LeBron. No one should be saying "if only LeBron had help!" Fuck that.

I like that......But i think its only fair to acknowledge that although he did join up with his buddies, who were considered "All Stars", they really have not played at an All Star Level....Wade is a shell of what he was before Lebron, and no one has impressed me less these past few seasons than Bosh, to the point I cant believe the numbers he posted in Toronto But otherwise, I hear a lot of what youre saying

Mario Chalmers won them game four of the 2012 Finals.... The Russell Westbrook gsme... The one where Wade was heard yelling "Mario motherfucking Chalmers!" After the gsme... Chalmers had 25 points on 60% shooting... and carried Miami down the stretch... Wade had 25 points... LeBron had 26.... But of course he did it all by himself.... Am I right?

What is the point of the anti-lebron contingency, sum it up for me. Zig says he is an all time great, snoog says he is "at best in the 7-10 range", down is down. What are you guys trying to say? Jordan/Bird/Kobe/Magic/Kareem/Cousy/West/Oscar/Jordan's cleaning lady/Brady/Sproles/Weatherford/Rooney/Pele/Gretzky/Howe/Orr/Shaq/Drexeler/Duncan was better...AKA I'm not angry about him shitting on us in Game 6 of the ECFs a little while back.... The thing that sent me into a tizzy was Freddie Coleman on ESPN radio talking about the Melo to the Heat rumors and how LeBron would have a great supporting cast and how that would be "great for the NBA". 1) He already has a great supporting cast. 2) As I posted last night - no one (except Miami fans) wants to watch the Miami Globetrotters burn through the Boston, New York, Sacramento, LA, Minnesota, Milwaukee, and yes, Washington Generals.

"Tim Duncan is the greatest player of this generation" - Down before he looks at Tim Duncan's wikipedia page... Actually, you could make an argument for that, depending on how you define 'great'. I think I would call him the best player on the greatest team of this generation.

2 points. 1...he's not as great as the lebronettes would have you believe ---- which is what? thank you for a non-answer. 2...if he played in boston, he's be hammered harder than a 19 year old pornstar in her first scene.. --- and this point has nothing to do w/ his ability and everything to do with the arguments of this thread. top 10 all time...probably top 5...but no more than that...he's soft...and wilts far too often in the playoffs...whether it's cramps...or flat out quitting on his team. like with the Cavs against Boston, he's proven he's not the killer that Jordan, magic hell..even Kobe were... The 2nd has everything to do wit this board, I've never said otherwise...you guys have your biases...you pretend you don't...that just pats fans are guilty of it...but I know for a fucking fact, the day tom brady asks out of a superbowl because of cramps? We would never fucking hear the end of it. Lebron has done it 3 times now, twice in this series. Not a fucking peep...well...other than excuses and blaming mario chalmers when they lose...

"Tim Duncan is the greatest player of this generation" - Down before he looks at Tim Duncan's wikipedia page... the fuck does wikipedia have to do with anything? yeah...I'd take duncan over him...not the duncan of today...but the duncan at the height of his career? Wouldn't beg out of a finals because he had menstrual pains.

Boris Diaw is sporting a 23:6 assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA Finals… He also has more total rebounds than LeBron and more 3’s than Wade

The same one that went up 2-0 vs. the Thunder than lost the next 4?

His fans seem to think he's the GOAT. Methinks obviously NOT. Dude can't touch Jordan who could win it all without a great supporting cast. Pippen and Rodman aint as good as Wade and Bosh are. Lebron is a great player just not so great as his lovers make him out to be. Jordans team without him went to an ECF and won 50 some games LOL Lebron's team won the title before he was even a thought. Touche.

SNOOGINS someone bashed Pippen on page 3 ... address this please Pippen is kinda like McHale was, great player but 2nd fiddle to an even greater player. McHale was better. Pippen needed a superstar to be an all-star. McHale didn't.

So you think Lebron is the GOAT? Please say no. Again. You go off name recognition. Do you have any idea how completely mediocre Chris bosh is? Dennis Rodmam was 10x the player And Pippen in his prime destroyed THIS Wade, maybe not the Wade 10 years ago Disagree. Rodman wasn't in his prime when he played with Jordan. Pippen was just a fiddle player.
