Last night on Raw Daniel Brian (aka Brian Danielson "American Dragon" on the Indy's) announced his retirement from Professional Wrestling due to concussion syndrom. He will be missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel was able to connect with the audance like no wrestler in recent times/memory causing the fans to highkack shows in early 2014 leading to a fan takeover of raw in February 2014. The highjackig and takeover forced WWE to change their plans for the mainevent at WM that year and put Daniel into the mix. Daniel captured the title at WM and as they say the fans went nuts! YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brian is only 34 years old but due to the concussion injuries is done wrestling in the ring for good if he knows whats best for him. He mentioned a next phase of his life starting today but neither he nor the WWE said just what that next phase is. Hopefully, he will move to the announcers desk or into training wrestlers in WWE Developmental.
Brian was the ultimate underdog in his WWE stint but succeeded no matter the obsticiles put in his way. He had a very sucessful wrestling career before coming to WWE in the Indy's especially in Ring of Honor (ROH).
It sadens me deeply to see Brian hang up the boots for good but I know deep down that it is the best for him, his family and WWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK-YOU BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will freely admit I had more than a few tears in my eyes last night during Brian's farewell speach. Especially when he mentioned his late father and his family sitting at ring side.

I always tear up with this stuff. Edge, Bryan, it's just sad. I even felt compassion when Mark Henry did the storyline retire.

Fortunately, he attacked Cena minutews later and didn't drag it out too long.
