I'm sorry if this thread was made already, but I couldn't find it. Basically, if nobody knows what this is, this is a thread where we can talk generally about the season going on right now. We can also post final scores, live scoring updates, AP rankings, and all sorts of that! So this should be a thread everyone can get behind.  |

Duke has finally gotten on the right track after having difficulties... Looking forward to their next game with NC State on Saturday, a team they beat to right the ship last month!  |

That was a huge win for them last nite against Louisville......they should be ok come tourney time. Things are way too wide open this season. Could it be the year for a mid-major? |

The difference between a 5/6 and a 2 or 3, this year, is not really that big...No one team is standing out. If the committee screws up, and places Duke as an 8, like it did Kentucky 2 years ago, and they win the championship, then they should give it back because it is bad for teams below a 4 seed to win..given your stance. I am all about the underdog, and love seeing the upsets. Sure would have loved seeing Butler win one. |

I'm saying it's not dominated by Kentucky, Duke, the 1-seeds, Kansas... The #1 seed, for all we know, could be Oklahoma and Villanova. But a 5/6 seed would be a different champion than last year and years past, is what I was attempting to say. It's just not common. |

It is almost time. Some teams are getting their bid. One is Austin Peay. The Governor's. From the Ohio Valley Conference. The best sign I saw during the tourney, was in '87, IIRC, and it was when APSU played, and ended up beating, higher seed Illinois. The sign read, "The fly is open...LETS GO PEAY". Total awesomeness.
