Reportedly with "significant Personnel control" \
So probably Goff at 2 as I expect that to be quite a stretch for Cook to go anywhere near that early. Lynch and Wentz aren't NFL ready enough to go to the Browns. So expect Goff to be the big loser at the draft
Wonder if he'll kick the tires on RG3

At least he's well versed in working within a dysfunctional structure. His experience working in the Raiders organization should serve him well here.

It's dysfunction with a pretty title.

never a good career choice.
Most people think Belichick failed there but he's the last HC that won a play off game there. He couldn't find a QB but he had them #1 D by his 3rd year there.
Not really fair to judge anyone by how they do Cleveland, nobody wins there. Fans deserve better. Jackson was hot commodity, he probably could have done better but I wish him luck.

Beginning with Joe Schmidt as HC under WCF (he was the most likely of all to lead the Lions back to glory at a time when the "gap" was only 10 years from their last title)...then Don McCafferty (who was so stoked that he croaked), Rick Forzano and Tommy Hudspeth (or was it Tommy Forzano and Rick Hudspeth...what a couple of ignominous picks)...Monte Clark, Darryl Rogers (what's it take to get FIRED around here), Wayne Fontes (the Big Buck...er Suck) , Bobby Ross (I don't coach that #$%#@$), Gary Moeller, Marty Mornhinweg (the bar is high...HE was high), Steve Mariucci, Dick Jauron, Rod Marinelli (marionette?), Jim Schwartz(kopf?) and Caldwell. What a group.

QB's drafted by the Browns since 2008... Johnny Manziel Brandon Weeden Colt McCoy They still haven't found a QB. They have an excellent shot this year. Which means of course they'll take the guy I want the Cowboys to take.

Spot they were drafted Manziel 22nd Weeden 22nd and if you go a couple more seasons back Brady Quinn 22nd McCoy was a second day pick This season looks like Goff 2nd Browns numerology I would trade up or down a spot 2's haven't been friendly

I would fully expect the Browns to take Goff. And - it isn't just the Browns who haven't done well from the 5th pick through the end of the 1st Round since 2008. It's pretty ugly. Johnny Manziel Teddy Bridgewater EJ Manuel Ryan Tannehill Brandon Weeden Jake Locker Blaine Gabbert Christian Ponder Tim Tebow Mark Sanchez Josh Freeman Joe Flacco With the exception of Flacco and possibly Gabbert & Bridgewater, that isn't exactly a Who's Who of QB excellence.

I still believe that Tannehill will be a good NFL QB Hopefully he gets the type of help he needs to get there. This is a guy who started one season in College he was a starting WR before that(while waiting for the QB job) He has been given the Jason Campbell curse a new offense every season. On top of that the Martin Incognito fiasco Hard to learn when you're on your back or running for your life. Gase has won with Tebow and Cutler and made Manning look great when he was there, and we know now that that was done with mirrors

I was originally against the Mike Pettine firing.. Until the Browns lured Hue Jackson away from the Bengals, who in all honesty should've replaced Marvin Lewis after that AFC divisional round game versus the Steelers, and Hue said he'd get rid of Manziel, which I've been begging to be done for a while now!
Hue Jackson seems like he won't put up with anything, and that's what the Cleveland Browns need. I'm not entirely excited about the Ray Farmer hire, but oh well... The Browns can't get any worse!

Farmer sucked up to Haslam in their 1st training camp when Farmer was the asst. GM. He had 3 1st's in 2 seasons Gilbert bust Manziel bust Erving probable bust Shelton juries out. Now Manziel was forced on him by Haslam but still that is not a recipe for success

RGIII wants to come to Dallas too. He's a fine athlete but he runs too often IMO. Wherever he goes I hope he can adjust to the NFL.

It's enough of a circus with Jerry in charge. Last thing we need is another clown.
