Apparently one week off was enough for Dion Lewis.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Patriots running back will play tonight against the Dolphins, despite being listed as questionable with an abdominal injury.
Lewis didn’t play last week against the Jets, apparently with an eye toward being ready for this game.
Lewis was limited in practice this week, with coach Bill Belichick downplaying what was actually done in those sessions.

Dion Lewis (abdomen) is active for Week 8 against the Dolphins.
Advice: Lewis was limited in Week 6 and absent in Week 7, but the Patriots think he's ready to go. With his health still a question mark, Lewis is just a low-end RB2. Inactive for the Patriots are DE Jabaal Sheard, LT Marcus Cannon, OL Shaq Mason, S Dewey McDonald, WR Keshawn Martin, S Tavon Wilson and DE Trey Flowers. With Cannon out, Sebastian Vollmer will make another start on the blindside. Cameron Fleming is at right tackle

You could actually eliminate the bye while the teams all get some extra rest between 2 games...almost like having 2 byes, just a little shorter... makes too much sense I guess |

You could actually eliminate the bye while the teams all get some extra rest between 2 games...almost like having 2 byes, just a little shorter... makes too much sense I guess While on the subject of making sense move the Pro Bowl to HoF game way less wear and tear on the players and although they'd be trading Honolulu or the SB site for Canton how many vets would like to miss a week of camp. They are already complaining about 4 ex games per team yet 2 teams play 5 plus the bonus of the HoiF game not being about 4th stringers who are fighting for taxi squad spots |

Had him & Dion Lewis in a fantasy league I'm in with my family. switched out Patriots D tho for the Packers D -- shouldn't have done that looking at what they did, but it's ok, I'm confident in the Packers. Switched out Lamar Miller for Dion Lewis too. got 7 more points from Lewis. 41 from Brady, 16 from Lewis. 8 from Miller on the bench who scored Miami's only touchdown. Pats-Packers game might be a match-up of undefeateds, that'll be the best game of the year imo and a SB preview |
